- Lift your finger and repeat the process a few times, reconnecting with the memory of being motivated, touching your knuckle, and releasing.
- The feeling of motivation and the physical act of touching your knuckle are now neurologically linked.

To test the effectiveness of your anchor, intentionally think of something unrelated to break the motivational state. Then, place your finger on the knuckle you associated with the anchor. You should feel a surge of motivation. The more vivid and powerful the memory you connect to the anchor, the stronger its effect will be.
